Duty - Work
Responsibilities: - Lean Management system (Lean Leadership) - Preparing QC/QA document according to welding standard or customer’s requirement. - Prepare supporting quality document for the project e.g. ITP, PQP, MDR. - Control the inspection of Finished Product according to company standard of Quality Control Process. - Review, update and prepare related documents to be ready for quality inspection of the product. - Inform, review and solve the problem which caused by the internal and external source to avoid having such problem again by coordinate with other related departments. - Conduct induction to QC staff to ensure their understanding of QC/QA’s work instruction and well practice. - Issue Monthly NCR Report and report to Dept. Manager. - Analyze and reports on Potential Risk and Non-Compliance Alerts. - Report to QMR & Dept. The manager on Potential Risk and Non-Compliance Alerts. - Assess suppliers for suitability inclusion in Company vendor approved list. - Advice Departments, Group, Functions of improvement required. - Report any serious Non-Compliance matters direct to QMR, Dept. Manager. - Recommend changes to the Company Quality Systems. - To audit, assess and review the functionality and operability of the Company Quality Management Systems. - Maintain auditing records promptly and close out Action Requests. - Prepare Audit Reports. - Coordinate annual assessment by ISO 9000 certification Body. - Review dept. KPI’s on a monthly basis, recommend areas for improvement. - Visual inspection of welding and hot dip galvanizing to identify various weld imperfections (defect). - To be aware of codes and standards related to inspection requirements. - To understand the relevant welding technology. - Monitor and asses’ production/ subcontractor's workmanship quality. - Ensure all inspection requirements are completed prior to issue/signing of releases, not for production or sub-contractor. - Perform inspection checks and verify the correctness of results to Dept. Manager. - Liaise with Dimension Controller and inspection data input to carry out the dimensional check and suitably keep data record respectively.
